One of the most frequently asked questions is; Which dialer do I need for my Jablotron alarm system? We have listed the properties of these 3 voters for you. After all, you can't do without it. You also want to be called when your alarm goes off, right?!
The Jablotron JA-80X PSTN telephone line dialer sends up to 6 different alarm voice reports to max. 4 telephone numbers and/or a Contact I.D reporting to emergency centers.
An alarm system equipped with a PSTN telephone module is connected to your landline telephone connection (KPN, Ziggo, Tele2, UPC, etc.) via your modem or landline. When the burglar alarm panel detects an intruder, it will make a report via this connection, so you will be called by the alarm system.
Key features
- Alarm voice reporting
- ARC (Alarm receiving center) communication
- Remote access via mobile phone
- Backup option for the JA-80Y GSM communicator
The JA-80X only uses the dial tone method.
The Jablotron JA-80V LAN / PSTN line dialer is mainly used for reporting to control rooms via IP.The dialer can forward SMS messages or acoustic signals to up to 8 mobile or landline numbers via your telephone connection. (check whether your provider supports this SMS from a landline!) It is also possible to connect your alarm system to the control room via the LAN connection.
It allows remote access to the system using a mobile phone or the Internet. It can also receive a report of events in the mobile phone system and alarm central (monitoring). Connected to the central unit via a BUS connection.
If the dialer is connected to both a PSTN line and a LAN (Ethernet) connection, the following is possible:
- Reporting via SMS (up to max. 8 numbers)
- Reporting via a call with an audio signal
- Reporting to an ARC (Automatic Receiving Center – also known as a Central Monetoring Station) max. 2 ARCs
- Remote control and programming via telephone (authorize a telephone remotely as a control panel or via SMS instruction)
- Remotely control devices in the home through a call from an authorized telephone (Free using of an unanswered call)
- Remote control and management via the Internet (www.GSMlink.cz)
The dialer can also only be on the PSTN line or only have a LAN connection. In that case the following functions are available:
-PSTN only: Remote control with a phone, reporting via SMS or a call and reporting to max. 2 ARCs (via the CID protocol)
-LAN only: Remote access via the Internet, reporting via max. 2 ARCs (via the IP CID protocol)
The Jablotron JA-82Y GSM dialer uses the mobile telephone network. It allows remote access to the system using a mobile phone, landline or the Internet. It can also send a complete report of all security system events and there is the option to send photos along with the reports, which the JA-84P (photo P.I.R) makes of the burglars the moment they enter your house. The JA-82Y actually has a photo module on board so with this dialer you don't have to purchase it.
If the dialer is connected to the GSM network, the following functions are available:
- Reporting by SMS (up to max. 8 telephone numbers)
- Reporting by telephone message with voice message alerts (it is possible to store 7 messages for various events)
- Remote control and programming with a telephone (by calling and using voice menu or via SMS instructions)
- Remote control of devices in the house by calling from authorized numbers (free with unanswered calls)
