Service instructions for JA-110F
Wired water detector
This product is a part of the JABLOTRON JA-100 alarm system. The detector serves to indicate flooding in the room to be monitored (basement, bathroom). It reacts to the condition (it reports activation, flooding of electrodes and deactivation of the situation, lowering of water level, pumping away of water). The detector is powered directly from the bus cable. The product is intended to be installed by a trained technician with a valid Jablotron certificate.
Installation
The detector is intended for flood detection, i.e. it is not constructed to remain permanently submerged. It is not suitable for flood detection with an aggressive liquid, e.g. not in a tank of wastewater treatment plant.

1. Select a suitable location for installing the detector and also a suitable location for the connection terminals of the bus cable or the JA-110T separation from the bus, if required. The JA-190PL box for electrical installations can be used for positioning the connection to the bus.
2. Connect the bus cable (1) to the terminals.
Before connecting the BUS, the system must be disconnected from the power supply.
If the module is located outside the room to be monitored, the BUS supply must be provided by the JA-110T separation from the bus.
3. Continue to follow the installation instructions of the central unit. Basic steps:
a. After power on, the yellow signal light (3) flashes because the detector is not assigned to the system.
b. Select the desired position in the F-Link program on the Peripheral Devices card and start the learning mode with the Read button.
c. Connect the detection electrodes (5) briefly - with this the detector learns and the yellow signal light (3) will go out. Tip - interconnect the electrodes with a moist finger.
Setting the properties of the detector
This is done by the F-Link program - card Peripherals. At the position of the detector select Internal Settings. A dialog appears, in which can be set:
Delay of reaction to walk-in: time filter to improve immunity against false activation - setting of 0.5sec ... 300sec determines, how long the detection electrodes have to be connected through, before the central unit switches on the activation.
Reverse reaction of walk-in: (inversion) from the factory it is set that the system reacts to jumpering of electrodes (flooding). One can also choose the reverse reaction.
LED indication on communication: allows turning off the red signal light that indicates both activation and inactivation of the detector by blinking once. In service mode, the indication is always active.
Indication of alarm: When enabled, the red signal light (4) indicates flooding by flashing twice briefly repeatedly, even after lowering the water level, if the electrodes are no longer connected. The flashing remains on until the indication is cancelled by the central controller (rearming, switching off in the menu or start of service).
Technical parameters
Power supply from the central unit BUS 12 V (9 ...15 V)
Current consumption in standby mode 5 mA
Current consumption for cable selection 5 mA
Detector responds to water flooding
