The external antenna AN-868 is used to extend the communication range of wireless components of Jablotron security systems, which operate on the frequency of 868 MHz.
A special construction of the PIFA type not only guarantees very good transmitting characteristics on different substrates, but also serves as sabotage detection in case of an interruption or short circuit in the power supply (this functionality must be supported by the connected component). The antenna can be mounted indoors or outdoors.
The AN-868 version is connected via a 3-pin connector, which is used in the newly developed components of the system JABLOTRON 100.
