The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/S is an excellent NVR for recording and reviewing the surveillance images of your IP cameras. The 16-channel recorder supports two 8TB hard drives and has 16 Power over Ethernet ports that allow connected cameras to be powered directly.
16-channel video recorder with PoE
With the 16-channel Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/4S, you have an excellent video recorder (NVR) for storing, live viewing and reviewing your IP camera footage. Connect the NVR to your network a link up to 16 cameras from Hikvision or another camera brand to the system. All ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE) so the connected cameras are powered directly.
Large storage capacity
The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/4S provides space for two hard drives of up to 8TB, so you can record hours of footage. In addition, the recorder applies H.265+ image compression, which means that although the video files are reduced in size, they are stored without loss of quality.
View images live and in retrospect
The camera images from the connected IP cameras can be viewed live via the Hikvision software or via the Hik-Connect app for Android and iOS. This makes it easy to maintain remote surveillance, including via your tablet or smartphone. But if something suspicious has happened, you'll want to be able to review the recordings. The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/4S therefore offers the ability to review camera images from eight channels simultaneously.
Alarm notification possible (AcuSense)
Hikvision cameras in the EasyIP 4.0 series are equipped with smart detection techniques such as line crossing and intrusion technology. For example, you can set your recorder to send you a push notification when, for example, someone crosses a set line or enters a certain zone. On 4 channels, the Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/4S also supports AcuSense, a smart technology from Hikvision that recognizes people and vehicles and minimizes the chance of false alarms.
