JA-182SH Wireless tilt and shock detector

Description

Jablotron JA-182SH Wireless tilt and shock detector

The Jablotron JA-182SH Wireless tilt and shock detector. Shocks from, among other things, the out-of-the-way lifting of doors, windows, etc. caused by intruders trying to force, throw in, drill, or saw through to gain access to your home (property). The wireless tilt and shock detector has a simple installation procedure and uses digital signal processing. It features a memory of previous shocks.

The detector is part of the Jablotron 100 security system and has two configurable modes. The shock/vibration detection mode for doors, windows, etc. can be used to indicate attempts of this type of force by passing a detection to your alarm system.

The tilt detection mode can be used to indicate unwanted "tampering" with the object to which the detector is firmly attached. Consider that the intruder thinks he is being clever and disassembles the detector. This can be used for safes, artwork, etc.

The detector uses a semiconductor tri-axial accelerometer with digital output. The signal processing ensures high immunity to false alarms. The detector communicates wirelessly using the 100 protocol and runs on batteries.
